He began studying photography in Sixth Form but was actively making images from a much younger age. "I was born in Bradford and lived there all my life until moving to London to study. Living in London for the past two years has allowed me to contemplate and consider my home environment, West Yorkshire, with a much clearer perspective and with a great deal of fondness. West Yorkshire is rich in history and culture, and I believe growing up there has greatly influenced my practice. What is England offers me an oppurtunity to rediscover my home county."
